I would like to take this opportunity to express my Thanks and Appreciation to one of the sales staff at Dan Vaden Chevrolet-Cadillac,     Lemont Johnson.

 

I had an opportunity to speak to Mr. Johnson and told him that although I love the Chevy and Cadillac line-up, I was interested in purchasing a 2012 Buick LaCrosse. I was hesitant to work with the local Buick dealership because of previous not-so-pleasant experience, and I didn't have a lot of free time to explore the dealerships out of town.

 

Mr. Johnson did not hesitate to offer his assistance. I know I was a very demanding customer, but he was always very accommodating, knowledgeable and available to answer my questions. He handled everything in a very professional manner and made the entire process convenient and hassle-free. I truly appreciated all of his time and hard work.

 

I supervise a large staff and believe it's important to recognize excellence. Although I was able to do express my satisfaction on a recently completed Buick Customer Service survey, I wanted to be sure that Mr. Johnson received the recognition he's earned and deserves. He has epitomized the standards of " Excellent Customer Service"

"?extra ten miles? "

    I am not sure if you were aware or not, but I hit a deer on Norwood Drive on Wednesday night before Thanksgiving. The following week the Vaden body shop did an excellent job with the repair and insurance coordination. Ernest in the Body Shop handled the situation and I had my car back on Thursday afternoon. But here is the rest of the story. A week or so later I noticed that I had a headlight out on the side of the car that had been damaged by the deer incident. Not knowing if the headlight issue was a result of the deer collision or not, I decided to call Ernest to see if he had any record of the headlight being out during his evaluation of the deer damage. After explaining the situation to Ernest, he offered that the headlight damage was not noted on any of the damage reports, but explained that the headlight filament could have been loosened in the accident and didn't come loose until after I had the car back. After a brief discussion about my schedule not allowing me to bring the car in for service, Ernest voluntarily obtained the correct replacement bulb, brought it to my office and replaced the bulb while I continued working. In this case, Ernest went an 'extra ten miles' for the sake of customer service and I felt compelled to share the experience with you.
