Chevrolet recently unveiled its forthcoming 2012 Camaro ZL1 at the Chicago Auto Show. It will be the quintessential top-of-the-line sports car, complete with 6.2-liter supercharged V8 boasting an estimated 550 horsepower (hp) and 550 lb.-ft. of torque.
The new Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, scheduled to launch early in 2012, will compete directly with the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, whose current 5.4-liter V8 offers an equal amount of hp, but 40 lb.-ft. less torque.
