2013 Cadillac XTS Preview

Just recently, the Cadillac CTS reached its highest sales figures for 2011. Following that success, Cadillac showed official images and specs on the upcoming 2013 Cadillac XTS. The car will be released to dealerships by "late 2012".1

Cadillac is reporting its large luxury sedan will come in both front wheel and all wheel drive (FWD / AWD). These options can be added or subtracted from the vehicles when purchased or test driven at your local Cadillac dealer.

Images of the XTS reveal a larger front end and chrome grille. The compartment will most likely house a variety of V6, hybrid…

Cadillac ATS Compact Concept

Would you like to travel in luxury, without SUV prices? Cadillac is offering smaller rides with great miles per gallon, while still featuring luxurious American engineering. Take the all-new Cadillac CTS sedan and coupe, for example. Starting next year, customers at Dan Vaden Cadillac, located at 9393 Abercorn Street in Savannah, GA, will have another option - the Cadillac ATS - which will be an entry level compact sedan.

Reports have stated that, "the ATS will be built alongside the CTS in Lansing, MI, on a new rear-wheel-drive architecture that will give the car authentic sport sedan styling, crisp moves, and brisk…

New Cadillac Concept Nostalgic

Cadillac loves talking about their new sporty vehicles like Cadillac CTS-V Coupe - but the American auto maker is also feeling a bit nostalgic with their latest concept. The Ciel convertible, unveiled recently at Pebble Beach in California, harkens back to the finned-Caddy's of the 1950's and 60's.

Cadillac Ciel was displayed on a rooftop in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City, as part of its world tour that will (supposedly) end later this month at the Frankfurt Motor Show. You won't see the Ciel on sale at Dan Vaden Cadillac - 9393 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA…

2011 CTS-V Springs Into Action

The all new Cadillac CTS-V, which is a supercharged coupe variant of the Cadillac CTS, will run 100 miles per hour on a rainy track, without any slippage. This shows GM's dedication to high performance, combined with luxury comfort behind the wheel.

Available for a test drive at Dan Vaden Chevrolet Cadillac - 9393 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA, The Cadillac CTS-V will pump out over 550 horsepower at 551 lb-ft of torque from its V8 engine. That's a 6.2 liter V8, of course. But this is still a Cadillac, and with that drivers receive state of the art…

The Cadillac DTS Replacement

As the final Cadillac DTS rolls off its assembly line in Michigan, America's luxury auto maker is throwing out more hints about a replacement, which will be on sale at Dan Vaden Chevrolet Cadillac - 9393 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA.

So far, all signs point to the upcoming Cadillac XTS as the next-gen DTS take over. Sharing its platform with Buick's LaCrosse (meaning a mid-size front wheel drive vehicle), XTS will also share space at the Lansing, MI facility where some Buicks are constructed.

"Although timing has not been determined, Cadillac plans to add a car larger than the…

Cadillac Escalade Goes 0-62 MPH in 3.3

If someone asked you which vehicle would win in a 0-60 mph sprinting race, the Godzilla-like Cadillac Escalade SUV or the gazelle of a Nissan GT-R, you'd likely choose the GT-R. After all, such a race doesn't seem like it would even be fair.

The truth is both vehicles entered exactly such a contest. And, against all odds, the Cadillac Escalade SUV won by one-tenth of a second. Extraordinary!

How did the Cadillac Escalade SUV do it? With a lot of help from the speed-obsessed geniuses over at Hennessey.

In preparation for the race, Hennessey gave the Cadillac…

Golf Tournament Awards Cadillac to Caddie

The last time the "Caddy for a Caddie" promotion was featured at the HP Byron Nelson Championship was three years ago, in 2008. But, it's back for 2011!

"We are elated to bring 'Caddie for a Caddy' back to the Nelson this year," said tournament chairman John Beckert. "The dedication of HP and Cadillac to enhancing the tournament for players, caddies, and fans is continuously first-class, and we're proud to call them partners."

Cadillac Plug-in Hybrid

According to reports coming out of Detroit, the all new Cadillac SRX (a just released and already top selling crossover from the American auto maker) is in the process of developing a SRX-based plug-in hybrid to be launched soon.

Details are limited, but Automotive News tells us the crossover will use Chevrolet Volt technology, and will draw on experience learned from previous extended-range vehicles from the company's other brands past and present - ie: the?
